I know its silly but if they just blanked out his eyes and had white lenses I'd enjoy this show a hundred times more!<br/><br/>It is a little to dark, this is not the DCEU cough. I want to love it, only seen the pilot episode and know they've changed the outfit a bit but still no lenses? Come on, worked great on the last Dredd movie and he was a movie star… The Tick has to be a mystery and all you can see is the damn actor playing The Tick… yeah it worked better in the 2001 show but Patrick could play dumb and had the dumb blue eyes to match, still miss that show sigh, and the 90's cartoon.<br/><br/>Anyway, still going to enjoy it, but just wish they went the white lenses route, would have been more leaning to the original comic book and cartoon route and would have looked awesome too!
After waiting what seemed like forever after the pilot for the series to come I was surprised to find that I extremely enjoyed the show, it had the feel of the animated series down well and had everything the original live action TV show missed out, a lot of people seem to think it is trying to be dark or serious but they clearly don't understand satire and even the gore moments just come acrossslapstick and over the top but that in itself suits what the show was all about perfectly and even the villains are perfectly selected, just watched the first 6 episodes and already looking forward to more, if you enjoyed the animated show and enjoy a good superhero parody feel then you will enjoy this, imagine sam raimis spiderman minus any of the serious tones or dark moments to it just the colourful heroes in a dull less saturated surroundings cracking jokes and having fun.<br/><br/>Easily a 10/10 for me and peter serafinowicz had grown on me now already, at first I felt that maybe he wouldn't have the lookPatrick Warburton was perfect in look and voice in the original live action TV series but peter gets the voice perfect and the mannerisms down perfectly bringing the tick to life.
